Nach einer etwas über einen Monat langen Testphase auf dem allen daran interessierten Personen offenstehenden Testserver von Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne haben die für die klassischen Titel von Blizzard Entertainment verantwortlichen Entwickler den ursprünglich einmal im Juli 2018 vorgestellten Patch 1.30 vor einigen Tagen nun endlich offiziell veröffentlicht. Aus diesem Grund können die aktiven Spieler dieses Titels dieses Update jetzt über die entsprechenden Quellen herunterladen und auf die in diesem Update enthaltenen Anpassungen zurückgreifen. Wie bereits durch die Testphase auf dem PTR bekannt war, beinhaltete der neue Patch 1.30 unter anderem eine Reihe von notwendigen Fehlerbehebungen, Anpassungen an dem Map Pool und eine Vielzahl von Spielbalanceänderungen für Helden, Einheiten, Gebäude und neutrale Truppen.
