Die Beschreibung des Videos: There is a really interesting item obtained from the Timeless Isle, called the Blazing Sigil of Ordos. Originally this was meant to destroy critters within 40 yards, however since BFA it has a complete different effect…. It destroys your own character (This was surely a way for blizz to point out how our character got weaker lorewise going from Legion to BFA, demoting us to critters) The damage taken doesn’t show up in the combat log, but oddly enough all the damage we take counts towards absorptions and other procs. This includes Shield of Vengeance for Retribution Paladins, and Splintered Heart of Al’ar. Thanks to this, we are going to stack up Battlemaster’s trinket, Defending Champion Heirloom, aswell as potions, flasks and covenant abilities such as Hold Your Ground to boost our maximum health, this will allow us to get a massive Shield of Vengeance. Then we are going to shift trinket into Splintered Heart of Al’ar and combo all of this with Final Reckoning and sigil of ordos to blow ourselves up and our enemy! The Blazing Sigil of Ordos is a consumable item, obtained from Ordos Fire-Watchers and Ordos Kilnmasters in Timeless Isle. The droprate from each of them is about 1-2%. I got on average one sigil every 20 minute when I was grinding it efficiently. Overall I would say the pacing was more like 1 sigil every half an hour. I also grinded a total of 36 sigils, so time spent grinding for the sigils themselves are about… 18 hours. Lets just say I was quite cautious when it came to using these sigils, to not waste any. You can add in the Precious Bloodthorn Loop if you want to ambush people with this strategy, since it allows you stealth while you get closer to them. Make sure you don’t have Divine Shield active when you use the sigil, since it will allow you to survive it! The 2 macroes I used for this are the following: /use sinful gladiator’s emblem /use potion of spectral stamina /use defending champion /cast shield of vengeance /equip splintered heart of al’ar /use precious bloodthorn loop This is the preparation macro, you get a massive Shield of Vengeance and then you swap into the Al’ar trinket and goes stealth. If you plan to enter combat beforehand make sure you already have the Splintered Heart of a’lar equipped, and remove ur Defending Champion. Also remember that Shield of Vengeance is split damage, so it works best single target. The second macro: #showtooltip final reckoning /cast avenging wrath /cast [@player] final reckoning /use blazing sigil of ordos This macro is a simple detonation macro, you could use Wake of Ashes instead of Final Reckoning but I prefer the visual of Final Reckoning for the explosion, I also used Wake of Ashes for quick holy power gain for Seraphim.
